ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Tori Kruse, Founder of 1st ManUp™ and Miss Missouri USA 2018 , is a motivational speaker and professional model.
Tori graduated from The University of Iowa with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Entrepreneurial Management. As a student at The University of Iowa, Tori co-founded The Iowa Retail Association while holding the title of president. She was an active member in the organization Women in Business and volunteered her time with Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, and Make a Wish Foundation. Before the age of 18, Tori had traveled to all 48 states in the continental Unites States, 9 provinces in Canada, many cities throughout Mexico, as well as studying International Marketing in Florence, Italy.
After college, Tori was recruited to St. Louis, Missouri for a Territory Sales Manager position selling commercial flooring. After 3 years in this role, her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to venture out and pursue her dream of becoming a sports reporter. In 2017 Tori was a freelance sports reporter while also continuing to model full-time. Tori is signed with modeling agencies nationwide and her most recent accomplishment is walking in New York Fashion Week! She has been featured on E! News, along with many other fashion shows such as Disneyland, Mac Duggal, Grayse, and Neimann Marcus.
In addition to Tori’s professional career, she is still very active in her community. She has arranged school supply drives for underprivileged children through KidSmart, raised money for young families in need with Nurses for Newborns, and has been the personal sports reporter for the Special Olympics.
As Tori continues her journey to Miss USA, she is shining a light on preventing sexual assault and harassment by speaking to young men. Tori continues to use her title to create change, start open dialog, and spread awareness so people begin to stand up for one another regardless of their sex, gender, race, or upbringing.
